The 33 year old heartless woman identified as Njoki Gachinga Benedict was on Thursday sentenced by magistrate Mshila Abigail at Nyeri High Court.

The family lawyer, Muthee Gitonga mentioned that they expected Mrs Njoki to given a life imprisonment, referring to section 203 and 204 of the penal code.

One of the family members said the 30 years is a fair judgment for such a deadly offence.

Mrs Njoki was found guilty for killing her 64 year old foster mum Wanguri Kanuri Esther, on 23rd February 2014 in Nyeri County.

After killing the elder woman, she dragged the body inside her bedroom, then locked it from the outside and went to Nyeri town for drinking.

This heartless woman pleaded to court to forgive her from life imprisonment because she claims she’s pregnant and HIV positive under medication.
