Fact 1
If you ever start new businesses without proper research and knowledge, you will encounter new challenges along the way that you would not be aware of. You would not know how to handle them, which can result in you wanting to change the type of business. You may be forced to close due to failure to continue funding your business.
Fact 2
Never start a business anticipating that along the way you are going to get help from your parents, friends, or uncle. Unless if you have an agreement with such people that they will chip in and help. Several times I receive messages from people asking for help because their businesses are stuck. Then I ask myself that when this person started the business didn’t they put measures to handle such challenges by the time they happened?
I have spoken with people who are intending to start a business saying I will do this and that, my friend or my parents will do this and that, and I wonder, whether your friends or parents as really determined as you are.
Fact 3
The best principle when getting into business is to know that YOURSELF is all you have, so pull up yourself and know that you are going to walk alone in that journey. The rest will join you when the hustle is now giving good fruits. That’s the only time people will start claiming that they know you and that you are their own. Start something while hoping for a miracle. There is no such thing as luck in business.
You can’t start hoping to be lucky and get a tender or to have everyone buy from you. Business is all about being strategic. Additionally, knowing what your customers want and bring the best service that outstands you from other existing businesses. That’s why you see some people involving charms, come on guys, that’s not necessary. You need a well-articulated plan that will attract customers, not Juju.
Fact 4
Most people start businesses and want instant success. However, this needs patience. Like a newborn baby, it needs to be nurtured and it’s a process for it to grow. It will take time and need continued effort.
In Conclusion
Before you start a business understand it and try to know the challenges before you start it. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
