When they asked her why she didn’t name King Saha on this committee at least for him to turn down the role, Cindy said that she heard he’s planning to start his own UMA.
The Boom Party singer, therefore, didn’t want to bother anyone’s peace.
“I was told that he’s planning to start his own association. I, therefore, didn’t want to bother him such that he can go ahead with his plans,” said Cindy.
It’s however not clear if she at all had intentions of naming him. This is owing to the fierce opposition he put up against her in the failed UMA elections.
Further, Cindy said that this committee will be helping with running the day-to-day activities of the association as the elections are further planned. She had the support and backing of the UMA policy board as she named this committee.
Additionally, on why she didn’t select Saha, Cindy said that she opted for people that have the objectives of UMA and pushed it ahead. These are the ones who will push the interests of the association in front.
They further asked whether she contacted Saha to offer him a role. The singer however declined to answer the question referring it to the UMA admin.
