President Yoweri Museveni made public appeal to the private sector to support government on Corona virus pandemic control.

The contribution from the private sector according to the president will narrow the commodity gaps.
Charles Cai the firm’s managing director said the company will work with government to supplement solar power provision on rural areas.

“As private sector looking at doing business with government and promoting our products we shall be open for business offers where rural communities can access solar products at subsidized rates to increase access to clean energy, “Cai said.

According to statistics from ministry of energy less than 10 percent of Ugandans have access to power and majority can not afford solar products because of the prices.
