The vlogger has died shortly after appearing in a video in which he criticized the quality of the medical care he had received at the hospital.
The late’s comedic videos on Facebook and YouTube have amassed tens of millions of views.
On Monday, Vohra’s wife took to her Instagram and wrote saying the actor had died. She posted this alongside the final video of Vohra in the hospital.
‘’This (oxygen) is extremely valuable right now. Without it, patients get giddy and suffer. You try and call out for the attendant, but they come in an hours’ time or more, and you have to manage in their absence somehow,’’ Vohra said in the footage.
In the last footage on Facebook, Rahul Vohra said he would have lived and received better treatment. He posted this and tagged the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Facebook page.
India is currently facing a devastating second wave of Covid-19, recording well over 300,000 new infections daily. On May 7, the country recorded a global record of 414,188 new cases.
Over 246,000 people have died from Covid in the country since the start of the pandemic.
In her Instagram post, Tiwari wrote a caption saying, ‘’My Rahul left us, everyone knows that but, no one knows how he left us. I hope my husband will get Justice.’’ She wrote this criticizing the hospital in which her husband received treatment.
