Joyce Bagala’s win was canceled by the court after the judge said there was a lot of inconsistencies during that election.
Former Mityana Woman MP, Judith Nabakooba took this case to court to show her dissatisfaction in the results that threw her out of this position.
However, much as court ruled in the favor of Nabakooba, Joyce Bagala is very confident that she will still win this.
“When we vote, our values are put into action and our voices are heard. Our voice is a reminder that we matter because we do, and we deserve to be heard. Thank you my Mityana District voters for speaking on 14th January 2021 and I know you are willing and ready to speak,” she wrote.
This incident is still one of the most talked-about things since last week. People are divided on the matter and even journalists.
Journalists have openly said they are behind their former colleague no matter what. This time around people are promising that it will be a 100% win for Bagala. Her fans have promised to stand with her all the way.
“Sweetheart, God got u. We have this. Let it be a lesson. They wanna check if we are intimidated enough to stand for what we deserve. It’s time to prove to them that we are stronger than before,” a one Rami wrote.
