Juliana Kanyomozi Advises Female Artistes On How To Get To The Top Of The Charts

Legendary songstress Juliana Kanyomozi has come out to advise female artistes and all upcoming musicians on how to make it to the top and maintain it.

While appearing in an interview with Sanyuka TV, Juliana said that these artistes should not give up. The Nabikoowa singer advised them to continue working hard.

This is because if things don’t work out yet, it’s because there is an ingredient that is still lacking. She highlighted herself and the crop of musicians of her era on how giving up was never an option.

Further, the singer expounded on the challenges that female musicians face. At some point these will always get married, get pregnant or be someone’s wife and mother.

This will in turn slow down their careers. She however added that nobody should be judged by their personal choices.

“I would advise all upcoming musicians and especially female ones to keep hustling and working hard until their careers take off. They should never give up because nothing comes easy. For our generation, we used to work hard and spend sleepless nights.”

“For the female musicians, there are factors such as pregnancy and motherhood that will always slow down one’s career. This, therefore, has to take much of their time but they shouldn’t give up. Besides once you get married, don’t throw your relationship in people’s faces because it will turn them off,” Juliana advised.

The singer added that breaking out as an artiste is the easiest part. However, maintaining what one has achieved is the most difficult part.

Juliana who has an upcoming concert on the 19th of August titled ‘The Boundless Concert’ revealed that after her breakthrough hit in Nabikoowa, that’s when the real challenge dawned on her.

She had to make sure that she follows the song with more hits. And as entertainers, it’s always important to tell their stories. This is due to the inspiration the fans can draw from them.
