Kenyan Man Charged In US For Raping 79-Year-Old Woman

A Kenyan man identified as Kariuki Ngigi Joseph who is believed to be in his late 40s has been charged with raping a 79 year old granny in the United States.

Karuiki who has been employed as an assistant at Brookdale Senior Living facility was apprehended last week and charged with 2^nd degree oral virginal rape.

Officers linked to Smithfield Police department were called on site at Brookdale Senior living on 830 Berkshire road, North Carolina on Thursday 19^th December 2019 at around 3am to carry out the investigations into the reported sex assault, according to ABC news.

The facility supervisor took the responsibility to detain the Kenyan man immediately after the incident and he was taken away from the facility prior to police investigations.

The facility administration said they always take a good care of their residents, adding that people with bad conduct and behaviours are dealt with accordingly.

Karuiki was charged by police with 2^nd-degree forcible rape and was being detained at Johnson County prison under $100,000 (365 million ) bond.
