Local Rapper Rocky Giant Cries Out For Help

Local rapper Rocky Giant has come out to plead for help from a number of wealthy Ugandans to assist him to clear his medical bills so that he can be discharged from hospital.

The singer was taken into rehab a few months back after drugs nearly cost his life.

After being rehabilitated and gaining sanity, the singer cannot however leave the rehabilitation center premises due to the heavy bills he owes.

According to the medics at the hospital and Rocky Giant himself, he’s got a bill of Ugx23million to clear. This bill also keeps increasing the more he stays in the hospital.

It was from this that the Ngoma nene singer appealed to anyone who can assist him to do so. He called upon the likes of Mama Fina, Salim Saleh, Ham, Balaam, Abitex among others.

Rocky Giant also said that he came to the hospital when he was a nuisance but after being rehabilitated, he now knows his value.

“They demand 23M shillings and the more I stay here, the bill piles up. I came when I was high on drugs and a nuisance but I was treated and now I have value. I want to appeal to different people such as Mama Fina, Salim Saleh, Balaam, Abitex to assist me in any way possible,” Rocky Giant told Spark TV.

To Salim Saleh, the singer pleaded that he should be helped as the General helps other musicians. Besides, his case was a serious one and he wasn’t looking for a way to defraud the OWC coordinator.

Rocky Giant has now spent over 7 months in rehab.
