Man Kills Wife For Aborting Five Month Pregnancy

A Kenyan man identified as Mbajo Munyoma Wilfred aged 26 allegedly murdered his wife for aborting a 5 month pregnancy.

After spending over seven months in hiding over a murder case, Wilfred was finally arrested last week in Maseno town, Kisumu County, Kenya.

Wilfred committed the offence on 30^th December 2018, he attacked his wife identified as Agneta Claire, aged 22, for carrying an abortion of an infant.

The mother of the accused Mmbone Esther said the man chased his wife around the house with a panga. She ran inside their house where Wilfred followed and closed the doors before he hacked her to death.

He was seen coming out of the house saying ‘Nimemaliza’ meaning I have finished her, according to the suspect’s mother.

Doctors at Vihiga County Referral Hospital confirmed that Agneta died from several injuries.

The suspect has therefore been charged with murder.
