This agenda was started by the president himself earlier this year and the most recent area to receive the presidents cash was Kamwokya hometown to Hon Robert Kyagulanyi, a strong opposition to the government.

Well the president is slated to visit Nakasero market, Qualicel Bus terminal and a place known as “kajja” next to the old taxi park among others.

Traders said they welcome the president with open arms citing various difficulties they endure in their businesses hoping the president to have solutions such as power shortage and expenses, high taxes on some goods and so on.

This move has been widely criticized by both ”Wanainchi” and some MPs calling it a strategy of by the president to buy love among youths around town since it’s believed most follow the people power movement.

At the same time, MPs in rural areas recently urged president Museveni not to stop in urban areas, but also extend such visits to their areas citing poverty, unemployment which has taken it’s toll in their areas.

It’s believed people with well-organized Sacco groups and working on a clear project will benefit more and the president is willing to fund such projects without blinking as we have witnessed in the areas he’s visited before.
