On Thursday evening, the school held an emergency meeting where authorities critically observed that the school cannot continue normal classes because of the fire which destroyed all pupil’s belongings, according to Daily monitor.

It is very unfortunate that a primary one pupil identified as Itaro Favor has died of suffocation in this fire outbreak, police has begun investigating the cause of the fire,’’ said Mr Lubega Kajura, the District Education officer of Nakasongola.
The authorities discovered that this school wasn’t following the guidelines, triple-Decker beds were found in children dormitories which is not allowed, we should however not accuse anyone for this shocking incident,”said Member of Parliament for Nakasongola, Mr Noah Mutebi.
