Having had quite some good time at the gold coast commonwealth this year, our uganda team is finally coming back today.

The first lady Janet Kataaha Museveni who is the Minister for Education and Sports will receive the team officially and welcome it from the oversea’s
The team will be welcomed at Entebbe airport
According to reports, two people from the Uganda team are missing from the team.
The two weightlifters are said to have accessed their passports from the official in charge before vanishing immediately after participating in their disciplines.
However, State Minister of Sports, Charles Bakkabulindi, advised the two athletes to return to the country as soon as possible.
He further said that he’s tired of having athletes from the teams always vanishing when abroad.
He also warned the missing athletes that if they don’t make it in time they never represent Uganda again.
This not the first time athletes miss when they go abroad to participate in different sports activities.
Other factors kept we pray for our disappeared athletes and welcome back those that are soon entering the country.
The Uganda team is coming back with over five Olympic medals courtesy of Joshua Cheptegei with two gold medals and other three athletes.
After arriving home and having enough rest, President Museveni will host the team for at State House Entebbe next week.
