Meet Young Woman Who Set Her Dowry At Over Shs14 Billion

A young Kenyan woman identified as Majimbo Elsa has fired up social media after publicly mentioning that she’ll only get married to a man who’s able to pay dowry of $4 million (approximately Ugx14.8 billion and Ksh400 million).

During her interview on the Wicked Edition weekly show hosted by Dr Kingori on NTV, the content creator made a comment, which shocked fans.

‘Let me make this clear. The type of partner I need should be rich. You know? Someone who is poor or broke should not waste his time approaching me,’she said.

‘What you need to know is that my dowry alone is $4 million. I cannot consider marriage with someone who is unable to pay that,’she continued.

She then tried to prove her position.

‘Since I grew up in a nice home, it doesn’t sound good to land on someone who is broke. That doesn’t work anyway,’she posed.

She went ahead and shared her experience on the ethical qualities she hates in prospective dates.

‘I dislike a man who comes late for a date and fails to say sorry, not even giving an explanation, that is being rude.’

Her attitude caused funny responses from listeners and radio presenter Kibe Andrew, who had also appeared at the show as a guest and strongly disagreed with Elsa.
