Big Fight: Bobi Wine Questions Chameleone’s Dignity After Crossing To NRM

NUP leader Bobi Wine has come out to question Chameleone’s dignity after trading his worth for a car.

The legendary singer, Jose Chameleone has dominated the news in the past few days after publicly confessing that he’s never left NRM.

Bobi Wine said that Chameleone very well knew that the freedom struggle did not belong to Kyagulanyi but rather Ugandans.

The Kiwani singer further added that even Chameleone himself while joining NUP said that he was joining to fight for the oppressed people.

It was therefore a shame to see him going against the same people he had vowed to fight for.

“Even when I was introducing Chameleone to the public and speaking with him, I clearly told him it’s not a Kyagulanyi project but for Ugandans and he agreed to fight along ,” Bobi Wine said.

The politician however acknowledged that you can’t decide for someone but rather people are seen from their actions.

Bobi Wine then said that Chameleone’s actions not only require looking at finances but rather at his self worth and d dignity.

“Well you can’t decide for everyone but they say we shall be judged from our actions. What Chameleone did requires us to look beyond finances but at the self worth and dignity too. It’s up to you to say that you’re not worth money or cars,” Bobi Wine added.

One of the reasons Chameleone’s sympathizers gave is the fact that NUP sidelined him. They never accorded him the respect he felt he deserved.

He therefore did not think twice of heading back to NRM when opportunity knocked on his door.
