Woman Left Stranded After Single Sexual Encounter With Facebook Lover

A woman and her two children have been left in a helpless situation in the market of Kiutine, Meru after visiting a man she had initially met on Facebook, used her sexually and later abandoned her.

The 27-year-old woman identified as Ms Jematia Salome had traveled all the way from Nakuru Country in Kenya purposely to visit a man she met and fell in love with on the social media giant, but unfortunately the love affair turned bitter when the man disappeared after a one night stand.

Mrs Jematia said they had spent almost one year in the relationship, from then on, the man invited her and also promised to look after her two kids.

The Facebook lover, whom the woman identified as Joseph, sent her Ksh1,300 to enable her go to Meru County but lost interest after she demanded HIV test before having sexual intercourse.

The woman however said they went ahead and had the intimate, but very early in the morning, the man abandoned her in the hotel after bringing back the issue of HIV test.

She then started looking for him everywhere, but he had disappeared and his phone remained switched off.
